We envision a successful Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships as someone who exemplifies proactiveness, strategic and analytical thinking, as well as entrepreneurial spirit.What makes this opportunity especially exciting? BNY Advisor Match is a strategic opportunity for BNY to build a digital referral program that will capture a share of the massive $80T wealth transfer over the coming decade. It is a new service designed to connect investors with financial advisors through trusted referral channels, enterprise partnerships, and digital experiences.As BNY scales Advisor Match, a critical priority is building a diversified, high-quality pipeline of demand through strategic partnerships. This includes relationships across financial services, workplace and benefits providers, platforms, and adjacent industries that can serve as consistent sources of qualified client introductions. This role will focus on identifying, shaping, and activating these partnershipstranslating market opportunities into structured, scalable growth channels for the platform.We look forward to sharing this front-foot, opportunity creation role focused on building, signing, and activating a high-quality pipeline of strategic partners. Reporting to the Senior Director, Head of Advisor Growth & Solutions, we're adding to a dynamic and innovative team. This role is located in New York, NY or in Jersey City, NJ.In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:Partnership Strategy & Relationship ManagementBusiness DevelopmentDeal Flow Management & ReportingCross-Functional CollaborationTo be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:Bachelor's degree required, MBA or equivalent a plus7 or more years of experience in business development, partnerships, strategy, consulting, or related rolesStrong organizational and project management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to develop clear, compelling narrativesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and AI toolsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesExperience working in financial services is a plus, but not requiredExperience in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, or growth-oriented environments is strongly preferred
