With nearly 40 years of experience, we provide the expertise needed to achieve more.Responsibilities+ Assemble and package complete permit submittal packages, ensuring compliance with jurisdictional standards.+ Coordinate closely with PSE's Municipal Permitting Team to communicate status, updates, and requirements.+ Track and manage the lifecycle progress for all permits, maintaining accurate status reporting.+ Ensure vendor compliance with franchise agreements and permit conditions, integrating jurisdiction feedback.+ Assist PSE Permit Specialists in resolving jurisdiction review issues and coordinate escalations as needed.+ Manage final permit handoff by retrieving approved permits and ensuring their inclusion in vendor construction/job packages.Essential Skills+ 5+ years of permitting or related construction experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.+ Proven capability in using and maintaining databases, spreadsheets, and enterprise resource planning software.+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, and one-line diagrams.+ Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to handle complex conflicts professionally.+ Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate departmental process improvement projects.+ Knowledge of energy distribution systems.+ Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ High school degree or equivalent.+ Ability to exercise judgment in analyzing and identifying solutions to permitting issues of diverse scope.Work EnvironmentThis role offers the flexibility to work remotely with the requirement to be local to the area. The employee will need to visit a PSE office in the Bellevue area two to three days a week.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Bellevue, WA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $64.90 - $69.71/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
