Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.ResponsibilitiesLMI is seeking an energetic self-starter who is focused on practical and efficient solutions delivered by an interdisciplinary, collaborative team. This individual will support the construction of our client's tactical technology infrastructure projects along the southwest border.Review contractor's written and certified procedures to ensure incoming and outgoing material properly received, inventoried, tracked and shippedMonitor contractor's processes to ensure compliance with written proceduresReview and confirm all receipts and shipments of materialEnsure contractor provides electronic copies of all receiving documents and ensure they are transmitted/transferred to client.Receive and approve construction contractor's requested truck pickups or rail requests and forward to distribution site operator.Confirm requested material pickups are scheduled in timely manner and communicated back to requesting construction contractor.Gather electronic records of all transfer documents and bills of lading and store in approved repository.Monitor shipments and pickups to identify "no-shows" and other exceptions that could cause backlogs or delay constructionProvide shipping, receiving reports and develop reporting tools as requiredParticipate in program meetings, develop briefing materials, create meeting agendas, take meeting minutes, and track action items to resolution.Regular travel to project sites will be required.QualificationsAbility to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance use, and employment verifications. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for a suitability determination.Active U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) background investigation (BI) preferred.3+ years of DoD, DHS, or another civilian agency logistics experience and a bachelor's degree in logistics management, business, or a related discipline; or 6+ years of DoD, DHS, or another civilian agency logistics experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.Ability to effectively solve problems.Strong communication skills, both oral and written.A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.Target salary range: $90,000 - $115,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation. Individual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to location, internal equity, business considerations, client contract requirements, and candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, skills, and security clearances.
