Armed Security Flex Officer (Full-Time, On-Call)Cambridge Security Services is seeking professional, reliable, and flexible Armed Security Flex Officers to join our team. This is a full-time, on-call position offering a guaranteed 40 hours per week, with assignments that may vary based on operational needs. The ideal candidate must be adaptable, mission-ready, and available to respond to short-notice coverage needs throughout Lake Worth to Fort Pierce, FL.Position RequirementsMust possess a valid D and G Security LicenseValid Driver's License with a clean driving recordMinimum 3 years of security experience (military or law enforcement background preferred)Must have a personal firearm approved by Cambridge Security ServicesMust be available for day/night/weekend shifts with flexible schedulingMust be willing to use personal vehicle for site travel (mileage reimbursed if applicable)High School Diploma or equivalent requiredClean background check and ability to pass drug screeningKey ResponsibilitiesRespond to last-minute shift coverage and emergency call-outsWork at various posts across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach countiesClock in/out and maintain communication with the Command Center throughout shiftsPerform regular site inspections, access control, and incident reportingMonitor site equipment and ensure all required gear and documentation are present and operationalDrive and inspect company vehicles when assignedMaintain a clean, professional uniform appearance at all timesSubmit timesheets and daily activity logs accurately and on timeComplete incident or maintenance reports using Tracktik or designated systemsDeliver or collect documents, gear, or reports as needed between sites and the officeSkills and AttributesStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent customer service and conflict-resolution abilitiesAbility to work independently and remain calm under pressureAttention to detail and situational awarenessHigh level of reliability and punctualityProficiency in smartphone and basic computer applicationsPhysical and Environmental ConditionsMust be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periodsMust be able to work in indoor and outdoor environments in varying weatherLight lifting, bending, and driving required as part of daily dutiesUniforms and site-specific gear providedWork LocationsCoverage area ranges from Lake Worth, FL, to Fort Pierce, FL, based on operational demand.About Cambridge Security ServicesOur Vision: To earn the lifetime loyalty of our customers by delivering the highest quality security services available anywhere.
