About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to support a short-term, high-impact 7-week project in Brownsville, TX with paid travel and housing. This role will focus on planning and organizing rack layouts within an operational environment, ensuring efficient material flow and space utilization. The ideal candidate is a bright, adaptable problem-solver with a background or interest in logistics, operations, or production environments, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, cross-functional team.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and organize rack layouts to optimize space utilization, material flow, and operational efficiencyCoordinate with cross-functional teams (including onsite operations and support teams) to align on layout requirements and project needsAnalyze and adjust layouts based on real-time operational requirements and constraintsSupport logistics and operational planning to ensure smooth execution of project activitiesIdentify opportunities for improvement in organization, workflow, and layout efficiencyMaintain clear communication with team members and stakeholders regarding progress and adjustmentsAdapt quickly to changing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentMinimum RequirementsApplicants must be a citizen or green card holder.Advanced Excel skillsPreferred Qualifications & AttributesExperience supporting production or manufacturing environmentsA background in logistics or operationsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsHigh level of energy and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentHigh degree of creativity and flexibility when developing material presentation solutions
