Loader/Unloader

Unloader PositionAs an Unloader at Ryder Ferrera, you will be responsible for efficiently unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and maintaining a safe and productive warehouse environment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities: Unload incoming shipments from trucks using manual or forklift equipment. Sort, scan, and stage materials for storage or further distribution. Verify shipment accuracy against packing lists and delivery documents. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Assist with inventory control and stock replenishment as needed. Follow company safety protocols and OSHA regulations. Work collaboratively with team members and warehouse supervisors to meet operational goals. Qualifications & Skills: Experience in warehouse operations or unloading preferred. Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work on your feet for extended periods. Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory systems is a plus. Forklift certification (if applicable) or willingness to be trained. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime if required. Work Environment: Fast-paced warehouse setting with varying temperature conditions. Requires physical endurance and adherence to safety guidelines.
