Crane Operator

CMC Rebar is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to safely and efficiently handle rebar materials at an active steel fabrication yard. This role is responsible for operating cranes to move and position rebar bundles, including material up to 60 feet in length with varying sizes. The ideal candidate has strong crane operation experience in a steel, rebar, or heavy industrial environment and prioritizes safety and precision.Responsibilities:Operate overhead or mobile cranes to lift, move, and position rebar materialsSafely handle rebar bundles up to 60 feet long with varying sizes and weightsInspect loads and rigging for safety prior to liftsCommunicate clearly with ground crews and supervisorsFollow all site safety procedures and OSHA regulationsSupport yard and production operations as neededWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
