Job DescriptionCoryell Health is seeking a board-certified Nephrologist to join our medical staff and provide nephrology services at our hospital in Gatesville, TX. This is a full-time position.Responsibilities:Diagnose and provide non-surgical treatment plans for acute and chronic kidney disease, electrolyte disorders, hypertension, glomerular disease, and related conditionsProvide inpatient and outpatient nephrology consultationsManage acute dialysis for hospitalized patientsCollaborate with primary care providers on management of patients with chronic kidney diseaseDevelop individualized treatment plans which may include medication management, dialysis, and kidney transplantsEducate patients and families on kidney disease management and treatment optionsParticipate in quality improvement initiatives related to nephrology careRequirements:Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degreeCompletion of an accredited Nephrology fellowship programBoard certified in Nephrology by the American Board of Internal MedicineLicensed to practice medicine in the state of TexasExcellent diagnostic, treatment, communication, and bedside manner skillsWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package along with the opportunity to make a difference at our hospital.
