Maintenance ManagerBaton Rouge Area | Relocation SupportedA major global chemical manufacturer is hiring a Maintenance Manager for a key production site in the Baton Rouge area. Newly created position, reporting directly to the Maintenance Director, with strong visibility across the site and clear routes for advancement with the site and wider organization.About the RoleThis is a chance to shape maintenance performance at a site with a solid team already in place. You'll be responsible for safety culture, reliability, and building out the team's capability, working to raise the bar on productivity. Managing a sizable annual maintenance budget, you'll also take a lead hand in bedding down a recently introduced maintenance work process across daily operations, a genuine opportunity to influence how it's adopted.Key ResponsibilitiesSet the tone on safety through consistent field presence, and hold contractor performance to site standardsCoach and develop the maintenance team, supporting their growth and performanceManage maintenance budgets and feed into longer-term reliability planningPush productivity gains across cost, quality, and turnaround outcomesLead investigations into maintenance and safety incidents when requiredCandidate ProfileEngineering degree highly preferred plus 5+ years in maintenance or operations, or equivalent experience3+ years preferred supervising maintenance, turnaround, or operations work directlyA track record of introducing structured maintenance processes in an industrial setting, and getting buy-in across teamsBackground in chemical or petrochemical plant maintenance leadership strongly preferredComfortable working with SAP or similar systemsA hands-on leader who spends time in the field and drives improvement, rather than managing from a deskAble to secure a TWIC and hold a valid US driver's licenseFull Relocation Support is AvailableWork AuthorizationSponsorship is not available.
