Job DescriptionMust have technical skillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)7+ years of experience in backend development with a focus on microservices architectureStrong hands-on experience with Python and FastAPI framework for building RESTful and async APIsProficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)Strong understanding of microservices design patterns Experience with message brokers (SQS)Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesStrong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skillsAPI Development & Microservice DesignDesign, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based microservices using FastAPIBuild high-performance RESTful and async APIs following OpenAPI/Swagger standardsImplement dependency injection, middleware, and background task processing using FastAPI's native capabilitiesDevelop and maintain models for data validation, serialization, and schema enforcement.Monitoring, Logging & ObservabilityIntegrate structured logging using libraries like Python's logging moduleImplement distributed tracing using OpenTelemetry or Elastic stack for end-to-end request visibilityExpose Prometheus metrics and build Grafana splunk dashboards for service health monitoringSalary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 a year
