Assembler 2nd Shift

*Position: Assembler* Adecco Staffing is currently assisting a local client in hiring a Assembler in Normal, IL. We are looking for an ideal candidate with manufacturing or mechanical experience, team-oriented mindset, and reliable work ethic. *Schedule* * 2nd Shift: 6:30 pm to 3 am *Role Summary* In this role, you will assemble mechanical components according to customer specifications and work instructions while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards. *Key Responsibilities* * Assemble mechanical parts per work instructions and customer specifications * Inspect parts and identify defects Inspect assembled components and identify defects or quality issues * Operate hand tools and basic assembly equipment safely and effectively * Read and follow production labels, work instructions, and standard operating procedures * Follow all safety and quality procedures * Maintain a clean and organized work area * Perform other duties as assigned by department leadership *Preferred Background* * High School Diploma or GED required * Manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred * Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions * Strong attention to detail and quality * Team-oriented mindset and reliable work ethic *Physical Requirements* * Ability to stand between 8 and 10 hours per day and walk up to 5 hours per day * Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs without assistance * Ability to perform repetitive hand motions and fine finger dexterity * Ability to stoop, reach, push, and pull as needed * Good vision (including color vision), hearing, and speaking ability Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
