This is a 6 to 7 month parental leave coverage role. While the firm does not anticipate extending the contract, they are open to exploring additional ways for you to support the team if future openings arise.The ideal candidate will have experience helping attorneys identify business opportunities in the healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceutical sectors, with specific focus on healthcare providers and health systems.This role leads target account strategy, opportunity identification, and pitch development while managing proposals, RFPs, and pricing coordination. The Business Development Manager supports cross practice collaboration, strengthens relationships with healthcare and life sciences clients, and contributes to thought leadership and market positioning. Prior experience working with healthcare providers or life sciences and pharmaceutical clients is highly valued due to the complex, regulated, and relationship driven nature of these industries.The Marketing Business Development Manager must have:5 or more years of client support experience in a professional services or law firm environment, preferably within the healthcare provider, life sciences, or pharmaceutical spaceStrong client communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and on timeProficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelRoles and ResponsibilitiesThe Marketing Business Development Manager will be responsible for shepherding a range of marketing and business development requests, including:Supporting the planning and implementation of business development and marketing initiatives such as events, proposals, sponsorships, awards submissions, and related projectsProducing high quality marketing and client facing materials, including pitches, RFPs, presentations, proposals, and informational sheetsManaging timelines, coordinating inputs, and ensuring deliverables move efficiently from request through completionCollaborating with the firm research team to produce market and client reports, distilling key findings into clear, concise summaries with actionable insights for attorneys and leadershipPartnering with attorneys and practice leaders to support client development efforts and strengthen market positioning within the healthcare provider and health systems spaceInterested?
