Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner in CT Surgery near DUNKIRK, IN We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our CT Surgery program as a First Assist. This unique opportunity offers maximum exposure to challenging cases and the chance to work in the full continuum of cardiac care alongside a dynamic and collaborative team. The successful candidate will be required to hold licensure as a PA/NP with prescriptive authority and possess a minimum of 3 years of CT surgery first assist experience with vein harvesting. In this critical role, you will serve as a First Assist, specializing in endoscopic vein harvesting for complex cardiac procedures. You'll be involved in the full spectrum of cardiac surgery care, from pre-operative to post-operative management. Your responsibilities will include managing post-operative patients, addressing conditions such as arrhythmias and fluid balance, and treating them appropriately in collaboration with the surgeon. As part of our team, you'll also play a key role in monitoring, consulting, and acting as a liaison between the surgeon, patient, family, and staff. The position involves independently seeing post-operative patients in an outpatient setting and participating in a surgical call rotation with the APP team.
