ADSY Coordinator - Part Time

ADSY Coordinator - Ignite Wage/Hour Status: Part Time Reports To: Superintendent or Designee Dept./School: Ignite Community Schools Days Worked: Three (3) Days Per WeekPrimary PurposeThe ADSY Coordinator will support the implementation, coordination, compliance, and operational management of the Additional Days School Year (ADSY) program for Ignite Community Schools. The coordinator will work collaboratively with campus and district leadership to ensure ADSY programming aligns with Texas Education Agency requirements, district expectations, and Ignite Community Schools' mission of academic excellence and scholar success.QualificationsEducation/Certification:High School Diploma RequiredSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Knowledge of Texas public or charter school systems preferredKnowledge of TEA ADSY requirements and compliance expectations preferredStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesAbility to maintain accurate records and documentationProficiency in Google Workspace and student information systemsStrong interpersonal and customer service skillsExperience:Experience in K-12 education, extended learning programs, school operations, or related field preferredMajor Responsibilities and DutiesProgram Coordination:Coordinate and support ADSY programming at assigned campus(es)Assist with ADSY scheduling, scholar enrollment, and daily operationsSupport implementation of intervention, enrichment, and instructional activitiesMonitor daily program effectiveness and operational needsCompliance and Documentation:Maintain accurate ADSY attendance and participation recordsEnsure compliance with TEA ADSY operational requirementsAssist with collection and organization of PEIMS-related documentationCollaborate with district leadership regarding funding and compliance requirementsStaff Support:Assist with onboarding and communication for ADSY staff membersProvide logistical and operational support during ADSY instructional periodsSupport campus leadership with program implementation and monitoringFamily and Community Engagement:Communicate ADSY schedules, expectations, and opportunities with familiesSupport scholar recruitment and participation effortsRespond professionally to parent and community inquiriesData and ReportingAssist with tracking scholar attendance and academic participation dataPrepare reports and summaries related to ADSY programmingSupport continuous improvement efforts through data collection and analysisSupervisory Responsibilities- NoneMental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental FactorsTools/Equipment Used:Standard office equipment including computer, printer, and copierPosture: Frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, and reachingMotion: Frequent use of hands and repetitive motionsEnvironment: Work performed in campus and office settings with occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditionsMental Demands:Maintain emotional control under stressWork with frequent interruptionsMeet established deadlines and compliance requirementsThe foregoing statements describe the general purpose and responsibilities assigned to this job and are not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills that may be required.Ignite Community Schools is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status under applicable law.
