Job Summary
Family Rooted is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Time/Sibling Visits Supervisor to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor. The Visit Supervisor will oversee and facilitate family visitations, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants. This role requires a strong commitment to the well-being of families and adherence to all state regulations and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise Visits: Oversee family time and sibling visits, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
Documentation: Accurately document each visit, including observations, interactions, and any incidents that occur.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all visits comply with safety protocols and state regulations, including maintaining a maximum of 75 miles to the first pick-up location.
Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with family members, social workers, and other involved parties.
Reporting: Provide detailed reports on visits to the social worker and other relevant parties as required.
Support: Offer support and guidance to families during visits, helping to facilitate positive interactions.
Flexibility: Adapt to changes in visit schedules, locations, and family needs as necessary.
Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices and state regulations.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of one year of experience working with children or families in a supervisory or supportive role.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or degrees in social work, psychology, or a related field are preferred.
Certifications: Must have current certifications in first aid/CPR, blood-borne pathogens, and car seat safety (car seat training provided by organization)
Insurance: Must have additional $1 million insurance liability for transporting children.
Skills: Strong organizational, observational, and communication skills.
Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check.
Transportation: Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate of $30.00 to $33.00 per hour.
Mileage reimbursement for transportation during visitations ($0.72.5 per mile)
Flexible schedule based on case assignments and family needs.
