The ideal candidate for this team will be a self-starter who can communicate effectively with clients and team members. This individual will have a proven track record of Construction Observation. Additionally, this candidate will:Observe, collect, and report the progress of current projects such as sanitary sewers, storm sewers, and paving operationsCoordinate material testing with outside vendors for soil densities, concrete properties, and other requirements as neededResponsible for the completion of Working Day Reports and Daily DiariesDemonstrate excellent safety practices and behaviors on project sitesWork outdoors in both developed and natural environmentsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or G.E.D equivalentTwo years of experience with construction observationDemonstrated experience with Microsoft Office, with an emphasis in ExcelAbility to demonstrate problem-solving and critical-thinking skillsStrong communication, interpersonal and organizational skillsAbility to effectively work independentlyAbility to work a flexible schedule with longer hours while maintaining concentration in varying weather conditionsAbility and willingness to work in both the field and office settingsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds, walk and stand frequentlyValid driver’s license with acceptable driving record & reliable vehiclePreferred QualificationsAssociate’s and/or Bachelors Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering or relatedFive years’ experience with Construction ObservationE&A is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
