The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Micro services, API development, AWS, along with working knowledge of frontend technologies (such as Angular/React/JavaScript) to support UI development and integration. This role requires proven leadership capabilities to guide teams and deliver high-quality, end-to-end solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end design and development of enterprise applications using Java and Spring BootArchitect and implement scalable Micro services-based solutionsDesign, develop, and maintain secure and high-performance RESTful APIsDefine and enforce coding standards, architectural guidelines, and best practicesCollaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutionsDrive cloud-native development and modernization initiatives using AWSWork closely with DevOps teams to implement and optimize CI/CD pipelinesEnsure application security, performance, scalability, and high availabilityConduct code reviews, design reviews, and technical auditsImplement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK)Lead production support, incident management, and root cause analysis (RCA)Manage and reduce technical debt through continuous improvementGuide the team on API governance, versioning, and documentationEnsure strong testing practices including unit, integration, and performance testingEvaluate and recommend new technologies and toolsCoordinate with cross-functional teams for system integration and deliveryMentor junior developers and drive team capability developmentParticipate in hiring, onboarding, and performance managementManage Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and delivery timelinesEnsure compliance with security and regulatory standardsDrive innovation initiatives, POCs, and continuous improvement effortsRequired Skills & Qualifications10+ years of experience in Java developmentStrong expertise in Spring Boot and Spring ecosystemHands-on experience with Microservices architectureExperience in building and consuming REST APIsStrong exposure to AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)Solid understanding of design patterns and system designExperience with Docker and KubernetesKnowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)Experience with SQL/NoSQL databasesStrong debugging and problem-solving skillsSoft SkillsStrong leadership and mentoring abilitiesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentStrategic thinking and decision-making capabilityPlease forward your resume and contact details to sahithi_s@surgetechinc.com/ kaviya_t@surgetechinc.com or can call on 832-990-644
