Job Summary: The Thread Roller is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining thread rolling machines to produce high strength, close-tolerance aerospace fasteners such as bolts, studs, pins, and screws. This role ensures components meet strict aerospace quality, dimensional, and surface integrity standards used in critical aviation applications. Key Responsibilities:• Set up and operate thread rolling machines for aerospace fasteners including bolts, studs, pins, and screws • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to meet precise specifications • Select appropriate dies, tooling, and machine settings for different head styles (e.g., hex head, 12-point, spline head, flush head) • Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) • Ensure threads meet tight tolerances, surface finish, and aerospace-grade quality requirements • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain consistent product quality • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and tooling • Identify and report non-conforming parts and assist in root cause analysis • Maintain compliance with aerospace manufacturing standards and company quality systems • Follow all safety procedures in a high-precision manufacturing environment Required Qualifications :• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred) • Prior experience in thread rolling, cold forming, or CNC machining in a manufacturing environment • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments • Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machinery
