Job DescriptionJob Overview:The ideal candidate will be able to move between web programming languages quickly, be able to understand requirements and work through details in an agile environment in a fast, friendly manner, and know how to write automated tests for the functionality they introduce. Responsibilities:Participate as a core team developer, getting hands-on with BabyCenter’s US Community site as well as other PHP sites.Participate in the discussion of platform technical direction with team developers and architect.Collaborate with Product Team to develop new products and features, gather requirements, and scope work.Write automated tests (unit, integration, functional) for any functionality introduced.QualificationsRequirements:3+ years’ experience with PHP and LAMP stack Experience with Zend Framework 1 (or another PHP MVC framework) 2+ years’ unit-testing experience (e.g. PHPUnit)2+ years’ experience in OO (object-oriented) design & re-factoring following a TDD (test-driven-development)Working knowledge of GIT and gitflow Working knowledge of JavaScript and JQueryExperience in working in a cross-functional, team-based agile environment Strong professional, communication skills MIS, computer science degree, or equivalent experience Nice To Have:Experience exposing a REST API (aka Service Oriented Architecture)Experience in Selenium WebDriverExperience in Java/Spring/Maven (Highly preferred)Experience with vagrantExperience with dockerAdditional InformationThanks & Regards,Mohit Garg | Team Recruitment | 732-243-0019 |Mindlance Inc.
