The Development Associate will support conceptual planning, design, and due diligence processes for commercial and storage development and redevelopment projects undertaken by SROA. Responsibilities: Support property due diligence by reviewing zoning and land development codes. Conduct market research to inform decision-making processes. Perform financial analysis studies to assess project feasibility. Collaborate with the VP of Development to review consultant proposals, providing high-level comparison summaries. Oversee planning, entitlements, permitting, and rezoning processes. Manage external consultants, including surveyors and engineers. Attend meetings with brokers, sellers, and municipalities to facilitate project coordination. Assist in budgeting and invoicing activities. Contribute to value engineering and plan reviews. Source new development opportunities.
