Proposal Operations Consultant (Sales Support)

A local candidate from the PA/NJ area is needed.The Associate Program Manager (The job title is misleading; we're seeking a candidate with 2-4 years relevant experience proposal support experience.)No C2C or referrals - please!The Strategic Proposal Operations Consultant supports company growth by leading complex proposal and information‑request efforts across the organization. This role drives execution, accountability, and cross‑functional alignment throughout the proposal lifecycle—from intake through submission.Reporting to the Competitive Insights & Response team, the role partners closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, and Compliance to deliver timely, accurate, and compelling customer submissions. The Associate Program Manager brings structure to fast‑paced pursuits and enables teams to produce high‑quality responses under tight deadlines.What You’ll DoProposal & RFP EnablementCoordinate end‑to‑end responses for RFPs, RFIs, security reviews, and compliance questionnairesTranslate customer requirements into actionable workplans, timelines, and ownershipSupport proposal strategy by assessing requirements, evaluation criteria, and positioningEnsure submissions meet all requirements, formatting standards, and deadlinesTrack progress and proactively mitigate delivery risksProgram ExecutionSupport intake, qualification, and go/no‑go processesManage proposal schedules and drive consistency across simultaneous pursuitsApply program management practices to improve predictability and executionCross‑Functional CollaborationPartner with functional leaders to gather inputs and align messagingFacilitate kickoff meetings, reviews, and executive updatesServe as a central point of coordination between Sales and internal teamsTrack action items and dependencies to maintain momentum and accountabilityInsights & OptimizationAnalyze pursuit data, outcomes, and customer feedbackContribute to performance reporting and leadership insightsSupport retrospectives to identify process improvementsContent & Knowledge ManagementMaintain proposal content repositories, templates, and standard responsesSupport improvements to proposal tools and documentationEnsure version control, accuracy, and accessibility of materialsWhat You Bring2–4+ years of experience in proposal operations. Program/project management, or sales enablement are plus experiences.Proven ability to manage multiple, time‑sensitive initiativesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience working cross‑functionally with senior stakeholdersFamiliarity with proposal/content management tools, CRM systems, and collaboration platformsExperience in a performance‑driven, revenue‑focused environmentBachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related field preferredThis role sits closer to proposal operations / business operations / sales enablement / program management than traditional IT.No C2C's from 3rd party recruiters, please.
