Systems Administrator

Job DescriptionEndurance IT Services is seeking a Systems Administrator or Junior Systems Engineer to support a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment. This role is hands-on and customer-facing, focused on supporting small-to-mid-sized business (SMB) clients, maintaining Microsoft 365 environments, and contributing to infrastructure and server-related projects.OverviewProvide onsite and remote technical support for SMB clients (10–50 users)Assist with Microsoft 365 and Exchange administration, including migrations and implementationsSupport data center hosting environments and client infrastructureMonitor and respond to security alerts and incidentsTroubleshoot technical issues and guide end users toward effective solutionsParticipate in onboarding new client environments and service setupsContribute to server and infrastructure-related project workEnsure reliable day-to-day operation of client systems and environmentsCoordinate tasks and priorities across multiple client environmentsThis role operates in a client-facing MSP environment and requires flexibility to work onsite in Mechanicsville, VA four days per week, with occasional work-from-home options as needed.Minimum Requirements3+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure, Help Desk, or Desktop Support rolesStrong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Windows environmentsExperience supporting multiple clients or working in an MSP environment is preferredBasic understanding of networking concepts; willingness to learn (training available)Strong verbal and written communication skills with a positive and professional demeanorExcellent customer service skills, with patience and attention to user needsStrong time management, organizational, and multitasking abilitiesAbility to work independently in a client-facing environmentAdditional Details6-month contract-to-hire opportunityLocation: Mechanicsville, VA (4 days onsite, flexible work-from-home options as needed)Generous 6 weeks of PTO offered from day oneOpportunity for career growth into engineering-level responsibilities, including network and security exposureAbout Endurance IT ServicesEndurance IT Services provides Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity Solutions, and IT Consulting to help businesses stay secure and productive.
