About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Java/AWS Developer to join a high-impact engineering team building real-time payment processing systems. This role focuses on developing scalable, high-performance backend applications that support mission-critical financial platforms. You will work in an agile, collaborative environment contributing across the full software development lifecycle—from design to deployment—while driving engineering excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring BootBuild and maintain event-driven, distributed systems
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs with a focus on performance and security
- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on AWSCreate and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical solutions
- Contribute to system design, architecture decisions, and best practices
- Ensure high-quality code through testing frameworks and code reviews
Required Skills:
8+ years of backend development experience
Strong expertise in Java 11+, including:
- Streams, Collections, OOP, MultithreadingREST API development
- Experience with Spring Boot / Microservices architecture
- Strong knowledge of event-driven systems and messaging tools:
- Kafka, SQSHands-on experience with AWS services:
- SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, Kinesis, EKSStrong experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB)
- Experience with Docker & Kubernetes
- Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines from scratch
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Terraform or Cloud
- FormationKnowledge of caching tools like Redis
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices
