You'll wear many hats, supporting our sales team, managing fitting rooms, organizing the floor, and ensuring customers leave with a smile. Your attention to detail, speed, and service mindset will help drive sales and maintain a seamless in-store environment.Essential FunctionsSales Floor / Operations TasksKeep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing during downtimeMaintain tidy and inviting fitting rooms for customersProcess and return merchandise to the sales floor after customer try-on sessionsAssist with replenishing stock and organizing new apparel from shipmentsSupport the sales team by locating and pulling merchandise for their customersComplete operational tasks as needed to support the overall teamFulfill all closing duties assigned by the Manager before clocking out Cash RegistersDeliver a fast, seamless checkout process while providing an exceptional customer experienceCollect and input customer information for AKIRA’s loyalty program, including name, phone number, and date of birthDrive sales by suggesting add-ons and highlighting merchandise at the registerOperate the cash register in accordance with company policies and proceduresEnsure all company policies are followed for payment processing, discounts, returns, and current pricingAddress customer questions and concerns with professionalism and careShare information on upcoming sales and events, including through cold calling when applicableMaintain an organized, clean, and efficient cash register area, including putting away merchandise after checkoutQualificationsExceptional cash handling abilitiesOutstanding customer service skillsHonest, dependable, and trustworthyFlexible availability to meet the needs of the storeSkilled at multitasking with a strong sense of urgencyPhysical RequirementsMove product, supplies and/or boxes repetitively; ability to push, pull, lift a maximum of 50 lbs. based on needs of the roleAbility to stand/walk for extended periods of time, including a 10-12 hour shiftEmployee Perks: AKIRA offers a generous employee discount, internal growth opportunities, and a fast-paced, fashion-forward work environment.Compensation: At AKIRA, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation practices.
