With some supervision, provides administration and support of Linux systems, automation tools Atlassian products, and cloud services.  This is a unique opportunity to contribute extensively to the success of a rapidly growing technology company.  Essential FunctionPerform daily support for applications and users. Troubleshoot user issues, CICD pipelines, scripting issues, and cloud services. Review system and application logs, and verify completion of automated processesPerform ongoing performance tuning, infrastructure upgrades, and resource optimization as requiredWork with project teams to document and deploy new projectsProvision and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirementsResearch, develop, and implement innovative and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasksMaintain and contribute to our knowledge base and documentationInfluence broader technology groups in adopting Cloud technologies, processes, and best practicesCreative thinking and proposing solutions to grow our business by delighting our clientsMay perform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills And AbilitiesBS (or equivalent work experience) in Computer Science, MIS, or related degree4+ years of Linux systems administration and configuration experienceStrong scripting skills – Python / Bash preferred2+ years of cloud experience – AWS preferred (EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, IAM and CloudWatch)2+ years of experience with Gitlab/Github/Bitbucket or similar code management/deployment technologiesKnowledge of CI / CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Agile methodologiesKnowledge of automating infrastructure builds utilizing tools such as Cloudformation, AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) Ansible or Puppet.Knowledge of containers and orchestration tools such as AWS FargateHighly motivated, Innovative, self-directed thinker with an eagerness to stay up to date with current trends and a desire to impressExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environmentThe pay range for this position is $86K to $135K per year (pay to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data).This role is eligible to participate in the annual bonus incentive plan.Other Compensation: If this position is full-time or part-time benefit eligible, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package which can be viewed here: https://businessolver.foleon.com/bsc/job-board-businessolver-virtual-benefits-guide/Dear Applicant.At Businessolver, we take our responsibility to protect our clients, employees, and company seriously and that begins with the hiring process.
