This mix gives their team exposure to a variety of building types and challenges, and keeps the work interesting and diverse.Job DescriptionAssist the Project Manager and Superintendent with overall project planning, coordination, and execution.Prepare, track, and manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and meeting minutes.Support project scheduling, including updating look-ahead schedules and monitoring progress against the master schedule.Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and engineers to ensure timely delivery of materials and information.Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to identify constructability issues or conflicts.Maintain project documentation, logs, and reports to ensure contract compliance and accurate record keeping.Assist with procurement activities, including issuing purchase orders and tracking material lead times.Conduct site walk throughs to verify work in place, quality standards, and adherence to safety policies.Help manage change events by gathering pricing, performing quantity takeoffs, and assisting with change order processing.Support cost control by reviewing invoices, monitoring quantities, and updating budget tracking tools.Participate in OAC, subcontractor, and internal project meetings; document and distribute action items.Assist in punch list development, closeout documentation, and turnover packages at project completion.Promote and uphold company safety standards, quality expectations, and professional conduct on the jobsite.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related construction field preferred.1-3 years of relevant experience in commercial construction, internships included.Strong understanding of construction documents, including plans, specifications, and submittals.Solid grasp of basic construction sequencing, materials, and building systems.Proficient in common project-management and construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office, scheduling tools).Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, logs, and deadlines simultaneously.Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and design teams.Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.Comfortable taking ownership of tasks and following through to completion.Able to work both in the office and on active construction sites.Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.Commitment to maintaining safe work environments and upholding company standards for quality and professionalism.What's on OfferBase salary up to $90k (depending on experience)Vehicle allowanceCell phone reimbursement2 Weeks of PTO - Increases to 3 weeks after 1st year9 paid holidaysHealth Insurance401(k) - 25% match up to 8% of base salaryContactRosalina CholewaQuote job ref
