Lenovo Workstations provide powerful solutions to drive productivity, innovation, and design excellence in key vertical segments such as Manufacturing Design, Engineering & CAD, Animation/Media/Web Creation, Science/Medical, Oil & Gas, and Finance.To maintain our leadership and compete in this aggressive marketplace, we are seeking to enhance our team with a Platform Engineer.ResponsibilitiesWorking with our Customer Engineering Team to recreate and resolve configuration-specific issues and compatibility questions with our workstation productsAssisting our system architects in the design elements of future generation workstationsDebugging of complex problems and issues related to our designsEvaluating new proof-of-concept solutions for feasibilityProviding feedback and engineering support to other departments requiring technical information about our productsBasic RequirementsBachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering/Science, or equivalentResults oriented in a fast-paced environmentAbility to multi-taskExcellent written and communication skills, and ability to articulate findings to others inside/outside of LenovoPositive professional attitude with flexibilityPreferred RequirementsUnderstand of the modern PC architecture, and experience assembling/dissembling PCsFamiliarity with common operating systems in use today (Windows, key Linux variants)Hardware/Software debugging skills (ability to use scopes/probes/analyzers, kernel debuggers, etc.)J-18808-Ljbffr
