Finance Manager

Finance Manager Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Status: Permanent, Full-Time, Exempt Wages: Based on Experience Position Description: The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the customer financing program process for Imperial Industries, while ensuring risk and revenue management. A strong focus on compliance, legal and ethical standards, product knowledge, and communication, is paramount. Responsibilities: Manage the customer financing process including facilitating the credit application, coordinating with the lending partner, presenting the financing options to the customer, presenting additional product offerings, and ensuring funding and transaction occur as planned. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with lending partners to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs. Maintain an understanding of all programs offered by lending partners. Works with the sales team to ensure all new sales are referred to the Finance Manager and the sales team understands the benefits of finance and lease programs offered. Assist with customer purchase contracts, invoicing, and vehicle titling and registration. Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial plans and budgets. Conduct profitability and risk analyses of financing arrangements and develop strategies to mitigate financial risks. Perform account reconciliations, maintain adequate records, and ensure accuracy of regulatory and financial reports. Maintain knowledge of industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices in financial management. Maintain high ethical standards and a commitment to high customer satisfaction throughout the entire purchase experience. Provide guidance and support to departments within the organization. Ensure that all organizational activities and operations are conducted in compliance with organizational guidelines and local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations. Reinforce company policies and adhere to company standards. Requirements: Degree in finance, accounting, or related field is preferred. Finance and insurance management training preferred. A minimum of two years of automotive or commercial finance experience, or experience in a similar role. Proficiency in strategic planning and revenue management. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Solid understanding of risk management principles. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
