As a BDC Sales Agent, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on our business and in the lives of our team members and customers every day. We are looking for energetic, customer-focused BDC Sales Agents who will help us redefine the car-buying experience. Responsibilities Contact and communicate with customers to identify automotive needs Answer all calls in a prompt, professional and courteous manner Use scripts to collect all pertinent customer information and document in the system accordingly All appointments must be entered into the dealership customer management system Adhere to Asbury phone scripts Maintain product knowledge certification and articulate thorough knowledge of products Meet daily and monthly performance goals (phone up percentages, appointments set percentages, show and sold percentages) Make a high-volume amount of calls daily Document all communication with the customer in the customer management system Complete internet lead management work plans daily Handle high volume calls and emails (e.g., 50+ outbound calls and 50+ emails per day) Follow dealership processes and maintain regular contact with customers Dedicate at least 3 hours of uninterrupted time each day to follow up with prospects Be comfortable role playing during training Excel in customer service and be motivated to succeed Build and maintain customer relationships Arrive on time for all shifts and clock in/out as required Have reliable transportation to and from work Display advanced computer and phone skills Type at least 35-40 words per minute Experience using customer tracking systems to track calls Prior experience in retail, sales, service BDC, receptionist, call center, or sales BDC is preferred Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Language proficiency is a plus Team player, self-starter, and professional under pressure Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background and drug test) Benefits Paid holidays and paid time off Weekly pay Paid training Stock awards (select management and front-line team members eligible) Insurance: medical, vision, dental, accident, critical illness and hospital indemnity plans Up to 12 weeks paid pregnancy leave (disability leave) Health savings accounts Flex spending accounts (tax free) Short-term and long-term disability plans Life Insurance (Whole Life and Term) 401k with company match Digital career path tool and continuous training through Asbury\'s Internal Learning Management System Student loan relief resources and employee discounts on parts and service repairs Opportunities to participate in community service initiatives with paid volunteer hours Aggressive employee referral program with bonus opportunities Equal Opportunity Asbury Automotive Group is an equal opportunity employer.
