Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Mental Health Counselor, based in Paw Paw, MI. The Mental Health Counselor will provide therapy and counseling services, develop individual treatment plans, assess client needs, and maintain detailed case documentation. The role involves conducting mental health assessments, offering relationship counseling, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care. The counselor will also assist clients in navigating resources and support systems within the community. Qualifications Proficiency in Treatment Planning and Case Management, with the ability to design and monitor individualized care plansExtensive knowledge and experience in Mental Health and Psychology to assess and support clients effectivelyStrong skills in Relationship Counseling and interpersonal communication to foster positive client outcomesMaster’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related fieldLicensure or eligibility for licensure as a counselor or mental health professional in MichiganAbility to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary teamPrevious experience in community mental health or similar settings is a plus
