Professional IT certification training opportunities and assistance are available through Compass.Position Title: ServiceNow Developer/Maintainer; Mid - Senior #2052Location: Chantilly or Springfield, VAClearance: Active Top Secret/SCIGeneral Responsibilities:Provide recommendation to Client regarding ServiceNow best practice, workflow automation, and usabilityMonitor System health and compliance with ServiceNowCreate and configure Client Scripts, Business Rules, ACLs, etc.Coordinate application and platform upgradesLoad, manipulate, and maintain data on ServiceNowProvide support for 3rd party data integrationsCreate ServiceNow reports and dashboardsCreate, Build and Maintain ServiceNow ApplicationsProvide recommendations to client organization regarding Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) principles and best practicesProvide recommendations and design in support for custom UX/UI developmentRequired Work Experience:Working knowledge of ServiceNow development, software installation and configuration, and system performance monitoring and tuningWorking knowledge and experience with ServiceNow Scoped application developmentExperience with UI Builder, App Engine Studio or other solution to deliver custom UX/UI portal pages/interface/web experiences to help drive usabilityDevelop/maintain documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructureExperience providing recommendations to team and stakeholders on best practice regarding ServiceNow development and use in an enterprise settingExperience in AGILE principles and processesExperience providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and resolving problems related to ServiceNow SPM applications and modulesCollaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and stakeholders, to ensure successful project deliveryRequired Skills and Tasks:Active TS/SCI clearanceAble to develop & use more complex concepts & processesPerforms multiple tasks at specialist levelLead and/or work with multiple Junior/Mid-level personnelMay be recognized as a SMEEvaluates & recommends new technology & processes based upon cost, risk, missionExperience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, SAFe)Desired Work Experience in Maintenance and Administration of:Working knowledge of ServiceNow workflows, client scripts, or data visualization (reports, performance analytics, UI Builder widgets)Working knowledge of ServiceNow SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) configuring and implementing SPM modules, collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing requirements, and providing technical solutions.Experienced in leveraging the various capabilities under the SPM suite of capabilities to guide an organization align their strategic business goals, using the ServiceNow platform.Working knowledge in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), JavaScript, Extensible Markup Language (XML), and JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)Working knowledge of Database administration (DB2, MySQL, MSSQL, etc.)Work Level:Minimal Guidance requiredManagementKey member of teamOversees or monitors task(s)Provides issue resolutionSenior - Level Education/Certification Required:* DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification* Master's degree plus 4 years' experience, Bachelor's degree plus 6 years' experience, Associate's degree plus 8 years' experience, or a minimum of 8 years' experience in a relevant fieldMid - Level Education/Certification Required* DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification* Master's degree, Bachelor's degree plus 2 years' experience, Associate's degree plus 4 years' experience, or a minimum of 6 years' experience, in relevant fieldCompass, Inc.
