This role’s focus is on hands on accounting execution, including owning the month end close, managing core accounting areas, and ensuring accurate financial reporting across multiple entities. A part of the role will also support process improvements, automation efforts, and tax compliance.You will report to the CFO and work closely with other stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Legal and the broader leadership team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and execute the month end close across multiple entities.Own key accounting areas: general ledger, accruals, consolidations, payroll, fixed assets, and prepaids.Prepare accurate financial statements and ensure strong financial integrity.Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and maintain clean books.Support daily accounting operations end-to-end.Support tax advisor requirements to ensure timely filings.Support process improvements and automation efforts.Collaborate cross-functionally to support audit readiness and compliance requirements.QualificationsAt least 5+ years of accounting experience, primarily in hands-on roles.Proven experience owning and executing month-end close.Strong background in general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Experience in multi-entity and international environments.Background in startup or high-growth companies is a strong advantage.Solid understanding of GAAP (IFRS is an advantage).High attention to detail with strong ownership and accountability.
