Experienced Service Plumber

Job Description Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Service Plumber who currently holds a journey worker license or is working toward licensing requirements. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of plumbing systems. This role requires someone who is flexible, adaptable, and willing to contribute to the growth and development of the service department, including the ability to identify opportunities, provide accurate sales quotes, and perform the approved work.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair residential and/or commercial plumbing systemsPerform routine maintenance and plumbing inspectionsTroubleshoot plumbing, drainage and waterCommunicate findings and recommendations clearly with customersPrepare accurate repair and replacement quotes for customersPerform quoted work upon approval in a timely and professional mannerMaintain accurate service records and documentationEnsure all work complies with local codes and safety standardsAssist with departmental growth, including supporting new processes and team developmentParticipate in on-call rotation as neededQualificationsJourneyman plumbing license or actively working toward licensing requirementsMinimum 5 years of residential and commercial plumbing service experienceStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsAbility to identify repair/replacement opportunities and present solutions to customersAbility to create accurate job estimates and execute the workAbility to adapt in a growing, fast-paced environmentKnowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, water heaters and drainage systemsValid driver's license with clean driving recordStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to pass a background checkPreferred QualificationsExperience with both residential and commercial plumbing systemsExperience with Successware a plusExperience with Nexstar a plusExperience with service sales and customer educationExperience with boilers and hydronic systems a plusWhat We OfferCompetitive pay based on experienceCompany vehicle and fuel cardHealth, dental, and vision insurance after probation periodPaid time off and holidaysOngoing training and career advancement opportunitiesOpportunity to play a key role in a growing departmentHow to ApplyPlease submit your resume and a brief summary of your experience.Company DescriptionAbout UsB & L Plumbing and Heating is a trusted provider of residential and commercial plumbing services located in Colorado Springs.
