We offer competitive pay, great benefits, and the perfect place to launch, grow, and advance your career.We are excited to announce our expansion into the Charlotte market and are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team and play a key role in supporting our growth in North Carolina.Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of the entire estimating process for commercial and industrial electrical projects, ensuring accuracy and profitability from concept to completionCollaborate closely with clients, engineers, and project managers to fully understand project requirements and deliver competitive, winning bidsAnalyze drawings, specifications, and blueprints to determine optimal materials, wire runs, and outlet placements in compliance with NEC and local codesResearch market trends and pricing to produce precise material and labor cost estimatesReview and negotiate subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure project accuracy and cost-effectivenessEvaluate project risk, profitability, and feasibility to support leadership in strategic bidding decisionsOversee awarded projects during early phases, providing guidance to project managers and ensuring alignment between estimated and actual costsContinuously refine and improve cost-estimating methods to minimize gaps between projections and outcomesQualifications5+ years of proven experience in electrical estimating, with a strong track record on commercial and/or industrial projectsExpert ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documentsIn-depth knowledge of NEC codes, installation standards, and industry best practicesDemonstrated ability to manage complex estimates and large-scale bids efficientlyStrong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skillsExperience mentoring junior estimators or supporting estimating teams is a plusProficiency with Trimble (Accubid), McCormick, and Bluebeam (or similar estimating software)Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insurance (Free plan for one individual employee)Life insurance- $20,000 life insurance after 6 monthsPaid time offParental leaveReferral programRelocation assistanceVision insurance8 paid holidaysSchedule:10 hour shiftExperience:Construction estimating: 5 years (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver's License (Preferred)Work Location: In person
