Job DetailsKey Responsibilities:Lead compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
Develop, maintain, and deliver safety policies, procedures, and training programs for plant personnel.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Manage lockout/tagout procedures, incident investigations, and near-miss reporting.
Analyze workplace injury trends and collaborate with leadership to implement preventive measures.
Serve as the primary liaison for Workers' Compensation, partnering with carriers and managing claims efficiently.
Support return-to-work programs and light-duty accommodations in collaboration with HR and site leadership.
Oversee third-party safety vendors, audits, and specialized safety services, including contract management.
Champion a culture of safety by integrating initiatives into daily operations and promoting employee engagement.
Travel to other sites (~30%)
Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering or related field
