Job Overview
Set in Stone Performing Arts Studio is seeking a passionate, energetic, and dedicated Performing Arts Instructor to join our growing studio family. We are a student-centered performing arts studio committed to building confident performers, strong technique, and a lifelong love of the arts in a positive, encouraging environment.
The ideal candidate has experience teaching multiple styles of performance, with an emphasis on working with young students. This role is perfect for someone who values creativity, structure, and age-appropriate instruction while fostering confidence, discipline, and artistic expression.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans for various ages and skill levels.
Teach a variety of performance-based disciplines, including dance, theatre, and vocal instruction.
Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages growth and participation.
Effectively manage classroom dynamics while maintaining an organized and fun learning space.
Provide constructive feedback to help students grow in technique, performance skills, and confidence.
Prepare students for performances, showcases, and recitals that highlight progress and achievement.
Collaborate with fellow instructors and studio staff to support a cohesive performing arts program.
Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress, expectations, and any concerns.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in dance, theatre, and/or vocal instruction.
Comfort teaching multiple styles of performance across varying skill levels.
Experience working with preschool and early elementary-aged students preferred.
Strong lesson-planning skills with the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
A genuine passion for performing arts education and youth development.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
