Coordinates the planning, delivery, assessment, and ongoing improvement of district grant writing initiatives. Manages grant budgets and financial reporting activities.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Maintains open/effective communications. Uses problem-solving techniques to tactfully address questions/concerns. Serves as an information resource.Analyzes data to improve school operations. Helps develop and implement the district's continuous improvement plan.Administers the board-approved budget for assigned areas of responsibility. Approves the purchase of supplies and equipment. Ensures that program resources are equitably apportioned.Encourages parent organizations and promotes school-sponsored activities.Supervises district-wide federal and state program compliance, grant writing, and reporting activities.Coordinates district-wide grant writing and reporting activities. Works with staff to develop proposals that produce tangible evidence-based benefits within specified time-frames.Monitors education laws, rules, and regulations. Keeps current with state academic content standards, benchmarks, and indicators. Promotes the continuity of the instructional program.Promotes community relationships to enhance favorable responses to funding requests.Evaluates prospective funding sources. Contacts organizations to acquire application materials.Promotes program innovations. Facilitates the work of grant development teams.
