Software Verification Engineer

Job Title: Software Verification EngineerJob Location: Cedar Rapids, IA – HybridJob Type: Contract – 9+ MonthsWe are seeking Software Verification Engineers to support safety-critical aerospace display systems. The engineer will be responsible for testing and verifying C/C++ software used in display systems to ensure compliance with DO-178 standards.Responsibilities:Perform software verification and testing of C/C++ code.Verify software used in aerospace display systems.Ensure software meets DO-178 requirements and standards.Execute verification activities and identify, document, and troubleshoot defects.Work with software engineering teams to support verification and validation activities.Contribute to software quality and compliance within a safety-critical environment.Required:DO-178 experience – MUST HAVEC/C++ experienceSoftware verification/testing experienceExperience with safety-critical or embedded softwareAbility to work in a hybrid schedule.Preferred:OpenGL experienceSVN experienceDisplay systems experienceAerospace/avionics experienceWork Arrangement:Hybrid schedule: 2 weeks onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA / 3 weeks remoteUS Citizens ONLYContract duration: 9+ monthsPotential opportunity to continue onto another program in April/May 2027, depending on business needs and performance.Interview process: 1 Teams interview with the Software Manager
