We seek a Research Associate I to join our dedicated group of scientists. A desirable candidate will have the skills to culture mammalian and/or bacterial cells, perform DNA mini-preps, and complete bacterial transformations or cell transfections.As an entry level research associate, this position offers you:Technical and scientific development leading to professional advancement or graduate schoolOpportunity to use automated liquid handling robots to implement high-throughput assaysDevelopment of report writing and presentation skills, which may include FDA IND submission materialCollaboration and mentorship from senior scientistsWhat you will do at Integral Molecular:Perform assigned tasks in the lab, including cell culture, DNA-handling, flow cytometry in a 384-well format, and the associated data analysisUse liquid-handling robots to perform antibody stains, washes, and dilutionsTroubleshoot experimental and equipment issuesFollow SOPs to complete experiments and assays, including good record keepingAssist in the preparation of customer-facing reports and deliverablesIndependently plan a daily schedule, which may include balancing multiple projects simultaneouslyPresent data at team and company-wide meetingsThe successful candidate will have:Bachelor's degree in biology, bioengineering, or a related field1–2 years of laboratory experience (internships and student jobs are applicable)A strong working knowledge of MS ExcelAbility to work in a team-based environment with a collaborative and proactive attitudeInherent drive to work in a fast-paced environment focused on meeting customer deadlinesPlease note: We are only accepting local candidates who live within the greater Philadelphia metro area and can commute to our offices daily for this position.Integral Molecular is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
