Must Have: - Experience working with an ERP (Oracle preferred but any other ERPs work as well) - Be able to follow written and verbal instructions - Be able to use computer - Microsoft Outlook - KANBAN planning experience is a plus (not a MUST)Job Summary: The Senior Buyer is responsible for managing purchasing activities, supplier coordination, and inventory planning. This role requires strong experience in international procurement, shipping, and cost management, along with the ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:Manage purchasing activities and supplier communications Handle international procurement and shipping using total cost models Oversee inventory planning, forecasting, and stock levels Manage Kanban and other inventory systems for efficient material flow Support electro-mechanical supply chain operations Identify and implement cost reduction and inventory optimization initiatives Monitor on-time delivery and resolve supply chain issues Negotiate with suppliers and provide updates on delivery challenges Maintain records, documentation, and financial tracking Support new product introduction and general problem-solving activities Requirements:5+ years of experience in purchasing and supply chain management Strong knowledge of inventory systems (e.g., Kanban, MRP, ERP systems like Oracle) Experience with international procurement and logistics Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
