This role will function as a true Senior Culture & People generalist with a strong interest in working and learning across all areas of HR processes. We like to have fun and not take ourselves so seriously, hopefully you do too :)What you'll do:Partner closely with leadership, managers, and employees to provide strategic guidance on employee relations, performance management, coaching, and organizational effectivenessLead and support complex employee relations matters, conducting investigations, facilitating difficult conversations, and driving timely, balanced resolutionsContribute to and help scale HR programs and initiatives focused on retention, engagement, learning & development, leadership development, and organizational growthAdminister and help optimize the company's Learning Management System (LMS), including training assignments, reporting, compliance tracking, and employee development initiativesPartner with leaders to identify training needs and support the development, coordination, and delivery of employee learning and development programsCollaborate cross-functionally with ownership, leadership, payroll, accounting, legal counsel, and external partners to align people strategies with business objectivesSupport and influence company-wide compensation planning and annual compensation review processesDrive employee performance and recognition initiatives that reinforce company culture and accountabilityProvide leadership support across recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, wellness initiatives, leave management, internship programs, and global employee programsParticipate in and help strengthen workplace safety initiatives and company safety committee effortsServe as a trusted advisor and culture ambassador while maintaining a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and credibility across the organizationProvide occasional operational support in partnership with Office and Facilities functions as neededRequirements6+ years of progressive HR generalist or HR business partner experience, including direct experience handling employee relations, performance management, compensation, organizational development, and employee engagement initiativesHigh emotional intelligence and emotional maturity, with the ability to remain grounded, approachable, and solutions-oriented in challenging situationsExperience supporting or administering Learning Management Systems (LMS) and coordinating employee training and development programsPHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferredDemonstrated ability to influence and build trust with employees and leaders at all levels of the organizationStrong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws, HR compliance, benefits, compensation practices, and HR best practices; exposure to global HR operations strongly preferredProven ability to navigate sensitive conversations, manage ambiguity, and balance employee advocacy with business prioritiesStrong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and a good sense of humor that contributes positively to team culture and employee relationshipsStrong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindsetExcellent communication, responsiveness, follow-through, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailDemonstrated initiative, adaptability, and the capacity to help evolve and scale HR practices in a growing organizationA collaborative, low-ego team player who values transparency, accountability, and continuous learningBenefitsUnparalleled health benefits (PPO plan with no deductibles, no co-pays, DCI covers 99% of costs)Quarterly bonuses: we all share in the success of the companyProfessional development401k match (3% match from DCI regardless of participation, 5% maximum match, 100% vested immediately)22 days PTOParental leaveCompany covers 100% of payroll taxes for state family medical leave11 annual paid holidays plus 1 floating holidayWinter break (we are closed the last week of each year)See more benefits information hereCompensation:DCI is proud to offer comprehensive compensation packages including competitive base pay and discretionary quarterly profit sharing bonuses to all part-time and full-time team members. Base pay is reviewed at a minimum on an annual basisPay range: $97,100- 108,300 per year. To ensure equity, our compensation philosophy is to bring people into new roles in the range of the mid-point of that role. Factors considered for pay include the level of skill, experience, training, external market factors, and internal value. Profit sharing bonus: Over the last 3 years, quarterly bonuses ranged between 11% and 17%. Future bonuses could be higher or lower depending on company profitsWhy DCI?Work hard, play often...
