Purpose of the position Reporting to the Career Commons Coordinator, the Career Discovery Camp Coordinator is responsible for leading a classroom of elementary-aged campers (6-12 years-old) in a summer enrichment setting. Coordinators facilitate engaging morning and afternoon learning blocks connected to weekly themes, support campers, and help create a safe, structured, and enriching camp experience.The camp training week is May 26-29. The Coordinator will participate in 24 hours of paid training during training week. The camp sessions are June 1-5, 8-12, 15-19, 22-26, July 6-10, 13-17. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Position type and expected hours of workEmployee should be able to work between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
