Job DescriptionUrgent Hire: Disaster Housing Recovery Lead – Ruidoso Flood ResponseLocation: Ruidoso, NMStart Date: Within 2 weeksMake a direct impact helping families recover from disaster. Plexos Group is urgently hiring a Disaster Housing Recovery Lead to support emergency housing efforts following severe flooding in Ruidoso and surrounding areas. This role is essential in helping displaced residents transition from emergency shelter to permanent housing.Key ResponsibilitiesLead non-congregate shelter operations and direct housing assistance programs. Support residents through the full housing recovery process—from shelter to permanent housing. Coordinate with FEMA, HUD, DHSEM, local governments, and nonprofits. Advocate for residents’ needs and assist with eligibility and housing program navigation. Track housing placements and report on progress and challenges. QualificationsRequired: 1+ year in FEMA IA or housing-related disaster recovery. Preferred: Experience with HUD, CDBG-DR, VOADs, or local/state government.
