Surgical Tech Location: State College, PA Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: $1,711 to $1,911 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team. Minimum Requirements: Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or equivalent programmatic accreditation. BLS Certification. Minimum of 2 years' experience as a certified OR Tech / Surgical Technologist in a surgical environment. Client prefers a minimum of 3 years' operating room experience. Experience or familiarity with Cesarean sections, Orthopedic, General, and Vascular surgery preferred by the client. Experience functioning as a scrub or first assist under supervision in an OR environment, following AORN Standards of Practice and principles of asepsis. High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a Surgical Technologist program or military surgical technology training. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital. Shift Name: Days. Shift Details: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday; scheduled start times include 06:30–15:00 and/or 09:00–17:30. Call opportunity available, but not required.
