If you want to contribute to meaningful work and be part of an organization that truly believes when you win, we all win, and when you fail, we all learn, then we’re eager to hear from you.The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills:What You Will DoTranslate engineering design requirements into formal manufacturing process documentation including CMM programming, inspection planning, finishing requirements, and assembly instructionsSupport process improvements using data analysis, application of best practices, engaging with production personnel, and implementing innovative solutions to improve process capability and decrease costDesign, control, and improve the manufacturing process through collaboration with a multi-disciplined teamSelf-manage workload to support existing production, perform non-recurring engineering work for new products, and drive improvement projects to completion.Communicate effectively with Engineering and Operations leaders in department to ensure schedule needs are met and where any barriers to progress exist.Perform process development on new product introductions with an accelerated time to marketSupport continuous improvement initiatives and document standard methodologies and standard work for CMM and manual inspection operationsReview metrology and statistical process control (SPC) data to identify and address potential defects before they occurTroubleshoot manufacturing issues alongside Quality and Operations personnel and apply CORE/6-sigma methods to determine Root Cause and apply Corrective ActionsWhat You Will BringTypically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering5+ years of relevant experience in a similar fieldKnowledge of CMM programming and workpiece holding and manual inspection methodology5+ years correctly interpreting engineering drawings, including ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances as well as typical government and industry specificationsThe ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearanceCMM programming experience for complex workpieces typically requiring 4+ axis machining centersDemonstrated working knowledge of Creo CAD Software (preferred)Pay Range: $45.67/hour - $54.81/hourCompensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure.
