Cloud Information Security Engineer

Overview In this role you will design and operate secure cloud environments across multi-cloud and hybrid setups, supporting the company’s cloud security posture. You will lead security controls, monitor incidents, and drive compliance for cloud platforms to protect critical assets. The position collaborates with Engineering and Application Development teams to enforce standards and improve resilience. ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain secure cloud environments across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaSLead proactive security controls and report on advanced risksMonitor and respond to cloud security incidents; perform root cause analysisDevelop and enforce cloud security standards with Engineering and App Development teamsSupport disaster recovery and business continuity planning for cloud environmentsConduct audits and deliver metrics to improve security postureStay current with threats, vulnerabilities, and best practicesParticipate in incident response activities and related duties Key requirements5+ years in Cybersecurity, including 3+ years in cloud architecture and operations (Azure, AWS, GCP)Strong knowledge of cloud security technologies (IAM, encryption, PKI, threat detection, CI/CD, automation)Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management and SaaS security frameworksFamiliarity with PCI, GDPR, NIST, ISO27000 compliance standardsExcellent communication and stakeholder influencing skillsStrong problem-solving and leadership abilities; able to manage multiple prioritiescommunicationleadershipinfluencing stakeholdersIAMencryptionPKI
