The successful candidate will work closely with the Board of Directors to provide strategic, operational, and intellectual leadership, ensuring the production of high-quality research, and the effective communication of findings to decision-makers and the public. Key responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the organization, from fundraising and program development to external relations and organizational management. The Executive Director will also be the primary spokesperson, engaging with policymakers, funders, media, and partner organizations, and will be responsible for strengthening the company's visibility and influence. Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a minimum of 7 years' of nonprofit leadership experience, with a proven track record in major gifts and institutional giving. A graduate degree in public health, environmental science, or a related field is preferred, although candidates with relevant experience from law, government, or business will be considered. The role requires a strong understanding of budget management, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to engage a diverse range of stakeholders.
