Civil Project EngineerLocation: Lebanon, INWork Arrangement: Fully on-site (4 days/week)Contract Duration: 1–3 yearsClient : Pharmaceutical This is an oversight-focused role, not a traditional field PE position Candidate should be comfortable leading through influence and managing complex Interfaces Urgent need with a streamlined interview process and potential for rapid offerRole OverviewWe are seeking a Civil Project Engineer to serve as the Package Project Manager for key civil and architectural scopes on a large-scale capital project. This is an owner’s representative role focused on oversight, coordination, and accountability rather than hands-on field execution.The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing scope, validating change orders, and coordinating across EPCM partners, design firms, and construction teams in a regulated environment.Key Responsibilities Act as Package Project Manager for assigned civil and architectural scopes Serve as the primary point of contact and accountability for assigned packages Oversee and manage scope areas including fireproofing, exterior cladding and building envelope, glazing systems, roofing, firestopping, and cold rooms (preferred, not required) Maintain clear scope definition and readiness across design, constructability, and execution Review, assess, and validate change orders for scope accuracy, completeness, and intent versus execution Coordinate with EPCM partners, design engineering firms, and construction contractors Participate in progress meetings and drive issues to resolution Ensure alignment with cost, schedule, scope, and quality objectives Function as an owner’s representative providing oversight rather than daily field managementRequired Experience & Qualifications 5+ years of experience in project engineering, construction management, or project management Experience managing $10–15M+ package scopes Experience serving as an owner’s representative or in a coordination-focused role Experience working with EPCM organizations, design firms, and multi-discipline construction teams Industry experience preferred within pharmaceutical, medical device, or chemical manufacturing environments (oil and gas not preferred) Strong understanding of scope control, change management, and package-level execution Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skillsEducationBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related technical discipline
