Locksmith Apprentice

Andy's Lock and Key is seeking a full-time Locksmith Apprentice to join our team. No prior locksmithing experience is required—we provide hands-on training to help you develop the skills needed for a rewarding career in the locksmith industry. As a family-owned business serving the Reno community since 1986, we take pride in providing quality automotive, residential, and light commercial locksmith services. We're looking for someone who is dependable, eager to learn, mechanically inclined, and enjoys solving problems. What You'll Do Learn automotive, residential, and light commercial locksmith services Assist with lock installation, repair, and rekeying Learn key cutting and key programming Provide excellent customer service in the shop and in the field Work alongside experienced locksmiths while developing technical and troubleshooting skills Qualifications Professional phone communication skills Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think independently Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and dependable Valid driver's license with a clean driving record At least 1 year of customer service experience Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Experience in the locksmith, automotive, construction, or other skilled trades is a plus, but not required If you're looking for a long-term career with a locally owned company that values teamwork, quality workmanship, and excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you!
