Injection Molding Manager/Process Technician

Mayer Tool & Engineering, Inc., established in1982 is a family orientated company specializing in Custom Injection Mold Building for the Plastics industry. From concept to completion, we handle everything from initial mold design to engineering and programming, to the final (molded) product. Our five in-house molding machines give us the opportunity to simulate high volume production settings prior to the mold ships to our customers facility.Mayer Tool offers complete benefits including health, dental, vision and a 401K match.ResponsibilitiesThe Injection Molding Manager will be responsible for running and maintaining the production and sampling demands. This could require multiple tool sets per day. The Molding Manager is also the primary Process Tech. This person must be able and willing to set-up and work to provide a process on all tools. Must provide good feedback and communication to the Mold Makers.This position will be over the direct management of up to (3) full time employees. Applicant must be able to work 8-10 hour days, most of it standing.Mayer Tool has (5) Injection molding machines ranging from 77T - 500T. Machines are all new within the past 10 years.Daily Operations:Mold Sampling - sometimes this requires multiple tools in the same day;Low Volume Production;Material Ordering;Inventory Control;Mold and Process Troubleshooting;Support in DFMs and design reviews for new tooling;Quality ControlQualifications7-10 years experience in Injection Molding and ProcessingKnowledge and understanding of ToolingSupervision and communication skills
